As a Member of Parliament Anneliese is often best placed to assist constituents with matters relating to functions of central government departments, such as healthcare, taxation and tax credits, citizenship, immigration and passports, benefits and pensions, student finance and policing.
If you are getting in touch about an issue related to the services provided by Oxford City Council or Oxfordshire County Council, including matters such as council housing, planning, street cleaning and parking, you may find that your elected local ward councillor will be best placed to assist you in the first instance. Please be aware that it is not within Anneliese’s remit to intervene in private disputes, such as those between neighbours, between an employer or employee and individual consumer complaints, or to intervene in outstanding legal matters, and court decisions.
When getting in touch it would be most helpful if you could please make sure you include your full name, home address, contact number as well as any relevant reference numbers (e.g. National Insurance number or Home Office reference). Please also be aware that strict parliamentary protocol dictates that Members of Parliament may only deal with enquiries and cases on behalf of their own constituents. Anneliese operates a constituency office in Oxford, however, the office does not have the facility to see members of the public without an appointment. Additionally, for security reasons visitors without a confirmed appointment will strictly not be seen.
